Rascal02, you never need to enter your Roku password on your Roku device. Once it's linked to your account it's linked and even that process doesn't require entering the password on your Roku device. If an app is asking for a password, it's asking for the password specific to that app that you'd use on that app's website, not Roku's website.

It's not "the Roku" asking you to enter your Roku password. It's the developer of the Newsmax app that clearly has no idea what he's doing. I'll reiterate - you never need to enter your Roku password on a Roku device. Any app that asks you to do so is created by a subpar developer to say the least. There's no way Newsmax has access to your Roku password!
