New app for Tablo 4th Generation OTA DVR

I recently purchased a Tablo 4th generation OTA DVR. I was told a new app for the new DVR was available with Roku devices. I have several Rokus, the most recent is a streaming stick, which dates to 4/21. The Tablo app is not compatible. Two questions with the goal of minimizing additional expense: (1) What is the cheapest device I can buy that will be compatible with the new Tablo app? (2) Do I need to purchase a new remote?
