My SOMA-fm screensaver is gone!

Roku seems to have removed the SOMA-fm screensaver from my set and instead, it reverts to whatever screensaver I have set in the tv.  I liked the SOMA screensaver because it showed the named of song and artist while playing; tv screensaver does not.

SOMA-fm wrote to me a month or so ago that they know Roku will do an update and they are going to try and work on it.

Personally, I find all Roku screensavers quite boring and serve me no purpose.  The SOMA-fm screensaver is the most useful to me.

    The developer must have removed it when the app was crashing under the 13.x software update with the screensaver enabled.  For reasons known only to Roku, they have removed the ability to have screensavers within apps.  I think it's ridiculous, but that's Roku for you. 🙄

    "Only standalone screensaver apps are permitted. Non-screensaver apps, including but not limited to video/audio streaming channels, games, and utilities, are prohibited from including screensavers."
