My Apps keeps crashing for Tubi and Netflix

My apps keeps stopping while trying to play for Tubi and Netflix I have been having this issue for several months. I have updated my Roku and apps, factory reset Roku, unplugged, restarted apps and Roku. I have contacted internet service they're not the issue I realized it's Roku and need help.

  • Don't know about Netflix, but the new Tubi app has this problem with some older TVs. Try going to Settings>System>Control other devices and UNCHECK "1-touch play". That fixed the Tubi problem for me, and if you're lucky it might work for Netflix too.

    We understand that you are facing an issue with a channel. Please note that if you subscribe to a Channel directly from the Channel provider and have already done the troubleshooting steps provided, channel providers also control and maintain their content on the Roku platform, so it might be better to contact the channel provider's support and inquire further.
