Movie streamed is not the same as the movie described.

I tried to watching "Prey", a 2021 thriller starting David Kross. Instead,  the Roku channel played a Canadian documentary about a man seeking justice decades after being sexually abused by a priest.

Tried to watch Malignant and the wrong movie with the same title plays. It's not the movie that is advertised. Made sure software was updated and unplugged the device. Tried it again and the same thing. Also, clicked on the movie Revenge and the same thing. Not the movie that is advertised. Why is this such a recurring issue with roku with all the same posts.

        Absolutely!

The Malignant movie I wanted to watch is advertised on Roku as the 2021 thriller starring Annabelle Wallis, Maddie Hasson, George Young and it has the pictures from that movie as being that movie. The movie that plays, however, is a 2013 Brian Avenet-Bradley film starring Gary Cairns and Brad Dourif with the same title, Malignant. I also tried to watch the movie Revenge, a 2017 thriller starring Matilda Anna Ingrid Lutz, Kevin Janssens, Vincent Colombe that advertises the pictures from that movie. What plays is a  2016 thriller starring Jean Yves Bourgeois, Marie Delmas, Emmanuel Bonami. I'm just confused as to what's going wrong here. Is Roku using the wrong movie information for the movies that share the same name on accident or are they playing a **bleep** movie no one will watch under a better movie that shares the same name.
