Modern Marvels - 470 - Closed Captioning on IN stream, no way to turn off

Whomever is managing the Modern Marvels channel (#470) has enabled Closed Captioning by default. I have no way to turn it off via ANY device I watch the shows on. The text is blocking key parts of the show. 

Wanting to confirm if anyone else is experiencing this? I've tested it on a Google TV (HiSense) via the Roku app, a TCL Roku TV, the android app, and a Roku 3 box. 

Hoping someone at Roku can look into it as well and turn it off! Thanks.

    I am able to trigger CC on/off on Modern Marvels (Roku channel LiveTV 470) on an Ultra 4660 as expected.

    Are you saying that while watching the channel, pressing the * (asterick button) and turning Closed Captioning "Off" is not working for you?
