Midsummer Murders not playing

I've been watching Midsummer Murders on itvx for the last couple of days as I'm off recovering from an op. This morning the show won't play. Has it been removed??

  • Hi Community Users,

Thank you for reaching out about the issue with Midsummer Murders not playing on the ITVX app on Roku.

We want to let you know that Midsummer Murders and other content on the ITVX app are managed directly by ITVX. Since most channels on Roku are developed and maintained by their respective providers, we recommend contacting the ITVX support team for further assistance. They may be able to offer a workaround or let you know if an update is required for their app on the Roku platform.

We hope this helps resolve the issue!

    Best wishes,

    Hi BeckPeters,

    Welcome to the Roku Community!

Thank you for letting us know that you can no longer watch the Midsomer Murders on the ITVX channel. We would be more than willing to assist you with this.

As we have checked, Midsomer Murders is still available on the ITVX channel. We highly suggest you try the following troubleshooting steps below:

    1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
    2. Move to the right and highlight the channel you wish to remove.
    3. Press the Star button on your remote to open the options menu.

    4. Select Remove channel and confirm when prompted.

After removing the app, restart the system by going through Settings > Select System > Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step > Select System restart

    Add the channel again:

    1. Press the Home button of your Roku remote.
    2. Scroll down to the Search tab
    3. Type in the channel name that you want to add.
    4. The result will be available on the right side of the TV screen.
    5. Select the channel and press the OK button on your Roku remote.
    6. Select Add app

If the issue persists please let us know.

    Thanks,
    Riamie

We are having the same issue with this programme, been watching it for some time and now when selecting programme kicks us back to Roku main menu, not even ITVX menu? Tried this solution on uninstall, restart and reinstall, has not worked. Can watch Midsummer on other smart TV via ITVX, but not using Roku.

      Thanks
