lg c3 tv with my roku screen goes black and then returns

Just bought new LG C3 TV replacing C1. When using my Roku on Prime, Paramount +, Acorn etc. the screen regularly will temporarily go black and then return to choices. This is before I start watching a particular show. Do I need a different Roku? I've tried changing display settings but this doesn't seem to matter.

See if the auto-adjust display refresh rate setting makes a difference (if you have it).

Same issue with Roku ultra (2019) and lg c3 on prime. Sound issues also. Roku music apps don’t play well either.

I’m buying a new Roku tomorrow. If that doesn’t work I guess the Lg goes back?
