Issues with Netflix Playback

Long story short: Household just got a new roku setup. I don't really know anything about it and I'm not the most tech savvy person admittedly, but I noticed that, on Netflix, the picture and soundtrack for shows and movies will play but there are no voices, sound effects, ambience, etc. I tried playing several different ones and the issue was consistent across all of them. Anyone know what the issue could be/if there's a fix?
