I contacted Newsmax Customer support yesterday and they said there was a temporary issue with streaming on Roku and they hoped to have it resolved today.
I paid for the annual plan and am on the trial now, and as you, I can only get NM2 on TV. I can get N+ on my computer. I sent messages to NewsMax yesterday (1st) and today (2nd) and have not heard anything yet. So I hope you are right about there being an issue with them getting to Roku. Oh, I also couldn't get it on Samsung Plus TV either, just N2. Maybe it will be cleared up soon! Have a great day.

Best news I've heard yet. Thanks. Newsmax should be the one telling us whats going on. If it ends up being a phone only app, I'm out.
On my PC, it buffers constantly. Works on phone but screw that. Roku...Nuthin.
I would like to know the same thing I can get it on my iPhone and I can get it on my iPad but I’m trying to find a way to get it on my Roku TV and it doesn’t seem like anyone has an answer

Yes. Delete the app…reinstall…once it upgrades, you’ll enter your user name and password.
Thank you for this suggestion (Delete current Newsmax app and reinstall the new Newsmax app). It worked!
Help I have paid and cannot get it on my TV under Roku.I can get it on my computer.

Glad I found this community problem. I'm having the same issue. Paid for Netflx+ but can't get it on the Roku list of apps
It's up and running now. Just go to search, ask for Newsmax, app appears install it, asks gives your email address and asks you for your password...you are done and on....Of course you needed to sign up beforehand on computer or phone.

Hmmm. See if you can “update” the app by clicking on settings.
It is NOT up and running, just Newsmax not Newsmax Plus!
I tried and it still does not work. Roku advises it is not on their network
Go to Roku and Update it, you will see the regular Newsmax App (Not a new one) and it will update. Once its updated, sign in on the app. The patch just happened.
I tried that also still nothing.
1. Update roku software.
2. Restart roku.
3. Update all applications.
4. Restart roku.
5. Enter newsmax plus login information.

I was able to get Newsmax+ on my Roku!I just had to update my Roku.

Mine did the same until around 4:00 PM (EST) today. You have to register first in Newsmax Plus.com or anything that has a link to where you register, then create a username and password. Then go to the asterisk or star on your remote, and update the app in Roku. You will need to sign in using the username and password you created in NM+ not the Roku account. If it doesn't happen then wait a few minutes or so and try again. I registered yesterday and couldn't get in until this afternoon. NM was having a technical issue with getting it to work with Roku from what I was told. Good luck, don't give up, and have a great evening. 😍
