Ibo Player Pro "unable to parse the playlist URL" error

I'm trying to use Ibo Player Pro on an Element Roku TV for IPTV. The same IPTV service works with Ibo Player Pro on LG and Android. On the Roku, i get a "unable to parse the playlist URL" error. I see others in this group have successfully used Ibo Player Pro. I'm trying to use a single app across all my devices. Any thoughts? I haven't received a lot of support from the developer.
