I got the same thing going on. I subscribed through roku and my wife is using the tv right now so I tried logging in on the laptop and it made me make a new account and do a free trial, but now that free trial is up and I'm not paying for the service twice just so i can watch it on my laptop. Like wtf. and Roku's "solution" is to power cycle the device which isnt remotely the problem.
5amurai5tormy, if you subscribe to something through Roku or any other 3rd party like Amazon, Apple, etc., you can often only use that service on the 3rd party's devices. The solution is to always subscribe directly with the provider if you want to use the service on multiple devices.
I don't know if it will work with Crunchyroll, but sometimes you can establish credentials that you can use anywhere by trying to log in on the provider's website using the email address associated with your Roku account (visible under Settings->System->About) and choosing the "forgot password" option. That may send an email allowing you to establish a new password that you can use on your laptop.
