I get this error message when I try to open a movie, "An error occurred loading this page"

I get this error message when I try to open a movie, "An error occurred loading this page Please try reloading the page or close the browser and open it again." I try the suggestions but keep getting the same result. I'm using  windows 10 on a pc. Any thoughts?

    Thank you for your post in the Roku Community!

    We understand that you want to stream from outside the US. Currently, VPNs are not supported for this purpose. Although they may have worked in the past, recent security updates by content providers may have affected your VPN's functionality. This change is intentional, so using your regular internet service provider (ISP) without the VPN should resolve the issue.

    bubba64097 Are you trying to load a movie from the Roku channel?  How is this related to a Roku device?

      If you are trying to watch movie from the online Roku Channel https://therokuchannel.roku.com/ verify that you do not have a VPN (browser extension, network, or antivirus VPN) enabled.

      Can also see if disabling any Firewall settings in Windows helps to load page.

        my problem is that iam outside of the Us and cant watch anything on Roku.

        i heard that i cant watch anything with having VPN ON. Is there a way to watch shows/movies with vpn on roku?
