I can not find a listing of channels as I used to

Time was on Roku there was a spot where hundreds of channels were listed. Mostly free ones. That seems to have disappeared in favor of showing only ones that cost money.---Is there still a place where you can find the various channels. I tried typing in history of the world in search and got sports channels that need subscriptions????
