My Netflix streaming on Roku was fine until 3 days ago. Now we start any show and within 30 seconds program stops and screen goes back to home page.

Hi jk55
Welcome to the Roku Community!
Does the issue only occur on Netflix or across other channels installed on your Roku device?
Have you tried removing the affected channel Netflix and then re-install again? If not, we suggest starting there. In some cases, removing the affected channel and then re-installing it may help. Restart your device before re-adding the channel back in to ensure the process is successful. We recommend doing this through the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If there is no Power submenu, proceed to the next step.) > System restart.
For detailed instructions, refer to this Support link for more information: How to resolve a channel playback issue | Official Roku Support.
Let us know if there's any difference after.
Warm Regards,
Lianna- jk55Newbie
Only Netflix. We tried removing and re-installing Netflix but there was no difference.

Hi MichelleB76,
Thanks for sharing that with us!
If the issue persists from one channel after attempting the suggested by RokuLianna, videos from other channels play fine, contact the channel provider's customer support team to report the issue and get help.
Channels on Roku are maintained by the channel developer themselves. In this case, there's likely an issue within that specific channel that needs to be addressed with an update from them.

Having same problem with Netflix on two new 4K sticks and three year old Ultra Netflix error tvq-st-106.. No problem on laptop or Android tv. Have tried EVERYTHING suggested in the past 10 pages of posts except switching to Firestick. Evrything has been updated, restarted, uninstalled, installed, refreshed multiple times. This is not my first rodeo.
Half hour on the phone with Netflix (they told me I didn't know how to enter my password - really, there are upper and lower case letters? Didn't know that, sheesh!- and then that it was an ISP problem. Sure after three years there's a sudden ISP problem.
For some reason Netflix platform and Roku devices in my house won't talk anymore. Both parties have some responsibility here; so fix it. If I have to replace three Rokus with Firestick, I won't be coming back.

No help from Roku I guess.

Netflix was working fine on my roku device. Then I changed the netflix password. Now when I try to access Netflix via my Roku, I just get a blank screen. Help!
- auntpamReel Rookie
I figured it out. I highlighted Netflix, then chose more options, then chose reset channel. From there I was able to put in my new password.

Netflix quit working on my Roku TV 4 days ago. I have tried all of the suggested fixes (remove channel, turn off TV, restart and add channel)and it continues to load properly but the selected movie quits and Netflix shuts down after about 2 minutes.

Update: I was able to fix my issue by accident exploring my account. I enabled guest sharing option and my TV kind of went blank. I then disabled guest sharing and after that, it worked perfectly. I don't care how it worked, but happy to have netflix back!!

All videos on my Netflix play for 5-30 sec and then the video pauses. I can press play and it will pause again over and over. I have tried removing the channel, restart, add the channel as well as a full factory reset and continue having the same problem. I have other Roku that work just fine.

Hi Esal1,
Thanks for your first post in the Roku Community!
We appreciate you informing us about the playback issue with the Netflix channel along with the troubleshooting steps you've done so far to try to resolve the issue.
We would be more than happy to look further into this issue but will need more details. Can you please provide us with the following information:
- When did this issue first start occurring?
- Do you observe this behavior while using any other channel(s) on your device?
- Do you receive any error codes or messages? If yes, please let us know.
- What Roku model device are you using?

Some channels and services can be restored by performing a system update. You can check for a manual system update by navigating to Home > Settings > System > System update > Check now.
Please keep us posted and we'll continue assisting you from there.

Hi Mary/Roku,
Thanks for your reply.
- When did this issue first start occurring?
- I'm unsure, this roku is the least used in my household.
- Do you observe this behavior while using any other channel(s) on your device?
- No, all other channels work fine. Hulu, Disney, Prime Video, PBS Kids, Youtube
- Do you receive any error codes or messages? If yes, please let us know.
- No error codes. I'm able to start playing a video and then it stops like it might be buffering, however it never starts playing again until I back out of the video and start it up again to repeat the process.
- What Roku model device are you using?
- Roku Ultra Model 4800X
- Did you make any changes to your connection recently?
- No. This roku is wirelessly connected to the router. This is also unlikely a network issue, as I am able to play videos on my phone or another roku while this issue continues to have issues with just Netflix.
- Updates
- My system claims it is up to date. Software version 11.5.0 Build 4312

Hello,
I have been having issues with Netflix on my Roku for months now and nothing i do seems to fix it. I have tried everything besides doing a factory reset, which it's looking like may be the only option i have left. All other apps work on my Roku, it is only Netflix that does this. If something could be done about this it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Eric

Hello egaudette14,
Welcome to the Roku Community.
We apologize to hear about your experience. We're here to help. What happen when you tried to access the channel, do you receive an error message or code? What specific troubleshooting steps have you taken so far to try to resolve the issue?
Did you restart your Roku device before re-installing the channel? That step is crucial when performing troubleshooting. We suggest to follow in this order, remove > restart > re-install, we would recommend giving it a shot once again. We also suggest doing the restart from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > System restart.
Does this clear the issue? Keep us posted.
Regards,
Nimfa
