How do you get a movie to play after you select it it is a Dead end
I'm a paid subscriber to Roku and found my movie on Hoopla but there is no avenue to play it.

Paid subscriber to Roku? There's no such thing. Roku is free, but that's another issue.
Hoopla requires registering with a library account. Not all libraries participate. You can see if yours does by trying to register on their website:

If you don't have a library card, then you need to start there.
