How activate USA network on Roku

So, I cut the cord long ago and do not have a TV provider. (I do have internet of course, but no TV per se) I use ROKU and Firestick exclusively for their free content, plus OTA. My question is, what do I put in where it asks for TV provider?

Thanks

    Hi Akbob

    Welcome to the Roku Community.

There are some streaming channels in the Roku Channel Store that are only available to customers with a cable or satellite subscription, these are known as authenticated channels or TV Everywhere channels.

TV Everywhere channels are published by the cable/TV network and offer cable and satellite subscribers access to additional content on their Roku streaming player or Roku TV as part of their subscription.

If you are inquiring specifically on how to access the USA Network channel on your Roku device, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further for more information about that channel's features and functionality. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.

We hope we have covered and answered your question. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

    Regards,
    Nimfa

Since you don't have a TV provider, there's only two possible ways to access a subscription channel. You either have to subscribe directly with the provider (I don't know if that's an option with this specific provider) or subscribe to one of the streaming TV providers, such as YouTube TV, Fubo TV or Sling TV. And again I don't know specifically if USA Network is available through those providers. USA Networks is really the only one that can tell you all of your options.

skynami please read the info above. If you don't have a TV service (cable, satellite or one of the online providers) you cannot watch USA Networks on a Roku device.

Maryculpepper58 you will accomplish nothing by posting that here. Please read the previous messages about using USA Network on a Roku.

Maryculpepper58 If you have a service provider and that is the code they provided to activate USA Network you will need to enter the code on your device not on this forum.

USA Networks does not offer the option of subscribing directly to their service. You must have a TV provider (cable, satellite or online provider) and USA Networks must be included in the package you have. Then you can log in with your TV provider credentials. There is no other way to see it on a Roku device.

Any activation code is coming from the app, not the Roku. The app should be telling you the website you need to use to activate. That said, I was under the impression that USA Network requires an active TV provider subscription, and their website should explain how to authorize your access on different devices.
