Hdhomerun app. Can't record from the live TV screen.

The HDhomerun app for live TV has very limited features. It would be nice in the live TV screen to have a button to press so a controls window opens and where the record, play, pause, forward and rewind button could be selected similar to all other media plays. As far as I know the only way to record right now is to exit the program you are watching in the live TV tab and find it in the Discover tab then select it to record.
