Getting locals for CA when I'm in AL

Restart didn't resolve the issue. Still getting local channels for CA when I'm in AL. I've corrected the zip code several times.

RokuMaryEF I'm having the same Roku issue with all of the devices in my home. Local channels are in San Francisco, CA and I'm in Huntsville, AL. I've restarted all devices several times and updated the Zip Code several times and I still keep getting CA local channels. here's the info for one of the devices...Streaming Stick model#3820X SN: S08Y41DEGEPGG.

csminmd RokuMaryEF Thanks, whether its OTA or something else the fact still remains that I'm not getting local channels anymore only CA channels. I've always had my local channels on all of my Roku devices including my Roku stick.

      Hey, bree2.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop!

We understand that you're getting local channels from California even when you're from Alabama, and we'd like to be able to help you figure this out.

To assist you better, could you tell us more about it?

      • When did you start noticing this issue?
      • What specific Roku device you're having problems with?
      • If you have multiple Roku devices, are all of them experiencing the same problem or only on a specific device?
      • Have there been any recent updates before this happened?
      • Lastly, please provide a photo showing the channels you're getting.

In the meantime, providing the details below will give us more visibility.

      • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and Software Version. (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
      • Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button five times, followed by the Back button five times, and provide us with this ID)

      Thanks for your cooperation!

      Best,
      The Roku Community Team
