While watching Disney +, ESPN+, etc. I am getting kicked out to the Home Screen every 3 minutes or so. I have tried a factory restart, delete app, reboot device, add app and issue persists. Please help. I have 2 express devices and it is happening on both.
I am getting kicked out of all my apps every 3 minutes I've tried factory reset, I've restarted, I've tried updating but no updates are available and I've also disconnected and reconnected my internet nothing is working this has been going on all day I need answers! Please!
Has anyone gotten an answer on how to fix this issue? Mine started yesterday and continues to keep stopping in every app I have after about 2 minutes and goes back to Home Screen. I’ve tried everything I’ve read on here and nothing has fixed the problem. This is frustrating to say the least. I have a Roku express.
Switch to a different HDMI I know it sounds crazy but I was having the same issue and was getting very frustrated I read to switch the HDMI and then it worked I have not had the issue since and it’s been months so give it a try and see if that works
I changed which hdmi input on the tv I was using and this solved my issue.

I tried that too....nope still getting kicked
I only experienced this on the new HBO Max app. I assumed it was due to being a new app or volume issues with everyone trying out it on free trial.
How do you change it?

I have been getting kicked off Disney+ for the past 5 minutes. I’ve had this issue before but I could usually resume watching my movie after the first time. Now I’m trying to watch The Santa Clause 2 and it’s kicked me off 5 times! Cant even make it past the 1-minute mark. Idk what else to do. I just got this tv for Christmas!
same I just got the tv for Christmas swell and it kicks me out all the time and its the most frustrating thing ever... do you have any idea how to get this fixed?
We have the Roku express+ and for the last 4 days, it kicks us off Hulu,Frndly,prime every 3 minutes. Wish they would provide an answer. It didn’t kick us off Pandora though.
We are trying a factory reset to see if that works. We have done system updates, unplugging to reset, and resetting internet. Nope that didn’t work either.
I have had the Roku stick, then the Roku ultra...two of them. I cant even watch one minute of anything without getting kicked off. I updated my internet to 200mbps and still getting kicked. But I found a solution.....im getting rid of my Roku. Boom
I have the same issue!!!! Only, it happens mostly on the roku express and it happens for at least an hour! I thought it was Comcast's streaming app, but naturally it's not their fault - it never is. That leaves me roku to answer yet there is NO WAY TO GET TO A HUMAN to find out what is going on. This is despicable roku!!! HOW DARE YOU NOT PROVIDE HELP for issues not in the hundreds of categories. I guess you're waiting for us to buy new equipment. That is NOT GOING TO HAPPEN AGAIN! Someone needs to be available for problems not addressed in your website. I AM FED UP! I guess Firestick will get my business next!
Roku TV keeps disconnecting from WIFI
I am having the same exact issues. I have the Roku ultra and it has been running perfectly for the last two weeks or more. All of a sudden today 1-14-21 all streaming channels regardless of what show im watching just stop. Pause.Shut off. Go white snowy screen. Sometimes no audio, sometimes nothing. My internet is at 112 mbps and ALL my other devices are working great, its a ROKU thing. And I have troubleshooted for 2 hours. Rebooted routers, modems,Roku,the nintendo switch,the hair dryer.....NOTHING WORKS.
I am very frustrtated because I just discontinued Direct TV and put all my faith in ROKU......BAD MISTAKE IM AFARID.
Somebody please tell me it is just a bad update or something

This happens with mine too with different apps. The only solution I found is I have to restart my roku every-time I turn it on. After I restart it, it doesn’t kick me off anymore but it’s extremely annoying doing that over and over again.
This happens on my 2020 Ultra(s) with literally all my apps at least once a day if not more.

This has been happening to me for months now. 2-3 minutes into a video and it goes to the home screen. I’ve tried every solution that is offered on the Support page, different website threads on the issue and nothing works.
I’ve deleted and redownloaded apps, logged out and logged back in, unplugged and plugged back in, changed inputs, turn off bandwidth saver, restarted my device, factory reset - literally nothing works.
To top it off, after I factory reset my device, now the display is messed up too. It shows the full screen when doing anything on the device and scrolls through apps and selects something to watch fine - but when it starts playing rather than the full screen it shrinks down to a rectangle in the top left corner and it’s so small I can hardly see what starts playing - before it goes to the Home Screen 2 min later.
I purchased my device from Walmart about 10 months ago and I can’t get a refund or exchange so I don’t know what else to do and I’m really upset about it as I can’t afford to be throwing devices away less than a year old.
Honestly I recommend hitting it hard that’s what I did and it pretty much did the job
ROKU has decided that my device is DEFECTIVE and told me to send it back for replacement. HOWEVER, they expect ME to pay for the postage to send it back even though they say it's defective. I have protested that several times to them AND NOW THEY WON'T EVEN HAVE THE COURTESY TO SEND A POSTAGE PAID LABEL!!! WHAT A COMPANY.
I DO NOT THINK I'LL BUY ANOTHER ROKU PRODUCT!!!!!!!!
Same here. We get kicked off Disney+, peacock, and Hulu it gets to almost the end of the show like the most important part 5 minutes maybe more and goes to next episode! So frustrating. Tried everything and nothing helps so I bought a new one on Black Friday since Walmart had it at $15 and surprise surprise same thing

I am being kicked out of Acorn randomly after about 2-3 minutes. This is about 85-90% of the time. Sometimes I reset the Roku from the System menu and it will then work. Other times it won't. It's getting very frustrating. I just upgraded to a Roku Ultra. This did not happen with my Roku 4400. It is plugged into my new LG C2 via new ultra high speed HDMI cable.
