Getting blank screen on Roku

My Roku says I cannot update then gives me a blank screen. I have already unplugged it and plugged it back in and it's still giving me a blank screen with the Roku logo on it and the time. I contacted the support and they were of no help. The only thing the agent said on the chat is make sure it's on the right input, duh I'm sending screenshots to him where he can clearly see it's in the right input! Roku Model 3900RW

  • I have several Roku TVs. I’m having the same issue with Roku streaming channels only on my smart TV is going blank after a while. I have this channel up by channel down to get them to come back on not on one TV but several of my Roku TV is the same issue. My apps are working perfect my OTA channels are working perfect just Roku streaming channels only I’ve have this issue it.

      I failed to mention that the blank screen on my Roku smart TVs only happens when I’m watching a OTA channel and I go from that to a Roku streaming channel. It happens after several times of switching back-and-forth from OTA to a Roku channel.

      Hey, Kdbbrown21​!

      Let's try to solve the blank screen issue you're experiencing with the Roku Streaming channels. 

      Can you try doing a system restart to see if it'll do the trick?

      1. Press Home on your Roku remote
      2. Scroll and select Settings
      3. Select System
      4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
      5. Select System restart
