It's always great to see new users around here in the Roku Community.
We understand that you're having the same issue with closed captioning on Foyles War. We've provided an update to the appropriate Roku team regarding the ongoing investigation of this. Once more information is gathered, we'll keep this thread posted.

I have just joined Roku, mostly for AcornTV and especially for Foyle's War. Apparently you folks have NOT dealt successfully with closed captioning issue of captions on the screen a few seconds before the voice it there - very annoying!!! I have viewed 3 other Acorn TV programs via Roku and so far, no such problems.
Why hasn't this been fixed, a full year after being brought to your attention?? It obviously CAN work, as episodes 1 & 2 are OK.

My issue is with Season 1, episodes 3 & 4 -all I've watched so far. However, several other users have said on this site that they had the same issue for subsequent seasons. They said that episodes 1 & 2 were correctly synced but then off for the rest.
If the first ones work, it is obvious that the dialogue and captions CAN be synced, so what is going on??
