Formula E Jeddah race replay really slow

What kind of joke is this? The race replay for the Jeddah E-prix race 1 on 2/14/2024 was savagely edited. There was 53 minutes of prerace talk followed by just 8 minutes of racing and then it abruptly went to scenes of drivers milling around after the race and the post race ceremonies for another half hour. When I watch a race replay, I expect to see the whole race. This replay wasn't even a highlights show. It made no sense.

Thanks for following up. As I stated in a previous post, after being absent for a day, the full race replay for race 1 was restored to its full 2:18:00 length. However, it was still exhibiting some strange behavior. When I tried to FF through the program, it displayed the thumbnails above the progress bar from the previous foreshortened version and it would not FF past the 1:34:10 mark. But when I hit PLAY the appropriate part of the race would play, not the scene depicted by the thumbnail.  And I could play the program all the way to its end at 2:18:00. I don't understand how that's even possible. Nonetheless, these strange behaviors notwithstanding, the program seems to be fixed.

  • What's the story with the "highlights" during the replay of the Jeddah race? You've got 50+ minutes of leadup, ten minutes of actual race "highlights" and 20 minutes of post race garbage. WTF is that? Where the entire replay of the actual race?

What app/channel were you watching this on? What model Roku are you using? Without that information we can't provide any assistance.

I'm using a Roku Express that I purchased in Nov., 2022. I watch the Formula E category thru the Roku channel. Interestingly, Sat. night I watched the replay of the second race from Jeddah and it was complete with a total show time of about 2:12:00. The replay for race one was nowhere to be found. But when I checked Sun. morning, the race one replay was again listed, now with a total time of 2+ hours instead of the 1:34:08 time of the original replay. Apparently somebody realized the original replay was screwed up and they fixed the problem.
