Firmware Update = Overheating?

Since a firmware update in May I have had my Roku HDMI device has been overheating almost daily.  Prior to May overheating mave occurred two or three times over previous 2 years.

 

Anyone experiencing similar more frequent overheating than what was experienced previously?

    Check For Firmware Updates, Air Circulation, Dust and debris, Power supply, Reset the device.
