Firestick home page shows up. but no response from controls.
Just set up the new TV, got the Firestick in, and I can go to the Firestick home page, but no response from the remote control.

I assume you're using the Firestick's remote? This sounds like an Amazon issue, not a Roku issue.
Well, I don't have a Firestick remote. What next? Go out and buy another "universal" remote?
?? Post one says no response from the remote, and post three says there is no remote at all!
I think you have plugged a firestick into a Roku TV (?) and was hoping the that Roku TV remote would control the firestick. (?)
