Fanduel app freezes while watching live

Good morning. I am currently having issues streaming the Fanduel Sports App on my Roku tv.

The app freezes and when it does play the audio is 30-45 seconds faster than the video. I have reset the tv multiple times. I have done a factory reset on the tv. I have reset the modem several times. We stream using T-MOBILE 5G. I did an wifi test several times and it comes back as 110.1 Mbps download and 10.5 Upload. I am at my witts end here. I did reach out to fanduel as well and they are pretty much useless with their customer service. They claim there is nothing wrong on their end with the app it has to be my roku tv. This is a 65" ONN Roku tv. I have a 55" TLC Roku tv in my bedroom that the app works fine on...... Any help or advise would be much appreciated.....

  • Im also running into the same issue with a roku streaming stick 4k. I have uninstalled the fanduel sports app, cleared the roku app cache, done a hard restart of the roku, reinstalled the app, ensured my usb power supply was plugged direct to outlet. On Fanduel sportsnetwork app only (all other apps work fine) after about 1-2 mins of play time (live streaming) the app crashes and dumps me back to the home screen. 

  • I am also having this issue. Resetting cache and factory reset on Roku did not work. Fanduel works fine for about 30 seconds, then crashes to Home Screen. This happens every single time. It’s incredibly frustrating.

  • Mine is doing the same thing and it just started about a week ago. 

  • I'm having this exact same issue. Only issues with one TV, a 65" TCL. All other devices work fine. Was there any resolution to this issue? Thanks.

        Mine is doing the same thing.  It just started a week ago.  It was working fine prior. 

  • I'm having issues with the FanDuel app on several devices.  It plays for 2 minutes.  Freezes for 10 seconds.  Plays for 2 minutes and then eventually completely freezes up, or the announcers voices get very deep and slow.  Eventually it just goes back to the Fanduel main page.

    We get that you're having trouble with the Fanduel Sports App on your Roku TV. We're here to assist.

    Does it happen to all content inside the Fanduel Sports App, or have you checked the other apps to see if the same issue occurs? How about trying to connect it to another network, like a mobile hotspot?

      Thank you for your reply. I have tried running it with my phones hotspot but it does the same thing. Anything that I want to watch on the app live freezes and again the audio does not match the video....

        So, this only happened on the Fanduel Sports App when watching live shows, correct? There might be a glitch with their station, and we don't have control over the live shows inside the standalone app.

        Try contacting the Fanduel Sports App support for further assistance again, as they manage and control their apps.
