F1 TV App freezes on live feed. Wont work

It plays 5 seconds of the live feed and then freezes. Reinstalled, cleared cache and everything. Looked on Reddit and others having same issue.

    Hey everyone,

Just to clarify, did the freezing issue start while watching live or on the app's home page?

Have you also tried updating the app and restart the device? If not please try it by following the steps below:

    Update an app:

    1. Highlight the app
    2. Press the star (*) button on your Roku remote
    3. Check for updates

After the update, restart the Roku device by going to Settings > System > Power. If there's no Power submenu, select System restart instead.

For more details, please click here.

If the issue continues, let us know.

Same here , what would help on rokutv is an option to lower quality because i feel is ultra hd and the tv cant proceed that quality.

I’m on a TCL Roku tv and it has no trouble with other UHD content.  I’m so glad we get to pay more to not actually see races

Hey everyone! Thanks for reporting this.

We see that the app is freezing when streaming on the live feed.

If you need more help, it’s a good idea to get in touch with the F1 TV app support. They can give you better troubleshooting that's specific to your issue.

We hope everything will be sorted out soon for you!

  • Same issue. Chatted with F1 app support and they’re not aware of the issue. Might need to downgrade to the non-premium F1 package as the high-resolution could be the problem.
