Does Fox News not work on ROKU?

Fox News and Fox Business News are the only stations that constantly have connection issues.  I have logged in repeatedly for a week and still those two channels do not work.

  • Huh? Roku is not responsible for the content or upkeep of the channels. You will want to reach out to Fox News Corp Corp. for help.

Cyrus1335, that's a Spectrum error message reported time and time again.  Some people have fixed it by restarting all of their Spectrum equipment - gateway/modem/router.  Others have had to call Spectrum to get it straightened out.  Once you restart your Spectrum equipment, make sure you restart your Roku device from Settings->System or Settings->System->Power (as appropriate).

  • I have tried to get the live news channel for a week.  It NEVER takes the code it gives me... Says it is incorrect... Tries at least a dozen times today alone... Any ideas??

I have sent messages to Fox News and so far no answer.  I don't have problems with other platforms and will be switching to Firestick for my Fox News feed.

I also have noticed drastic lagging on the menu and loading other apps like local news, Prime Video and Netflix on my Roku.  My connection is 400 MB fiber, so I know that isn't the issue.

ROKU is censoring FOX NEWS and not allowing us to have an opinion on who we the people want to listen to.  Sign of the end times!

Please site your evidence of this.  As stated MANY times, FOX NEWS is in charge of the content on the FOX NEWS channel.  If you have problems, please take the time to contact them.

        Thanks for the post.

Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.

If the issue remains unresolved, I'd recommend reaching out to the channel provider directly to report the issue and request additional support. Many channels on the Roku platform are developed and maintained by the channel provider directly, and they'll be able to best assist. If other channels are working correctly, and you only experience this issue on the Fox News channel (app), that is likely an indication that the issue lies within that particular channel. In these cases, the channel provider will need to investigate the issue in order to help resolve it.

        Thanks,
        Danny

  • Fox news delay works on YouTube Fox News Live channel does not

  • I agree entirely.  I've logged out and in and updated the app.  It's maddening

I have also signed in multiple times with my Verizon Fios and I cant get the Fox News App to stay connected. There is nothing to complain to Fox News about its ROKU that seems to have problem with this steaming app.

    1. Internet Connection: The stability and speed of your internet connection can significantly impact your ability to stream content smoothly. If your internet connection is slow or experiencing interruptions, it could result in buffering or an inability to load certain channels properly. You can test your internet speed using online tools or contact your internet service provider to troubleshoot any issues with your connection.

    2. Device Compatibility: Ensure that the device you are using to access Fox News and Fox Business News is compatible with the streaming platform. Older devices or devices with outdated software may struggle to stream content effectively. Check the system requirements for the streaming service and make sure your device meets them.

    3. Streaming Service Subscription: Verify that your subscription to the streaming service includes access to Fox News and Fox Business News. Some streaming packages may offer different channel lineups or require additional add-ons for access to specific channels.
