Disney not playing content and Netflix not loading

Both Disney+ and Netflix are not loading and playing content on my Roku device my Roku TV so far I have tried factory resets after deleting the app updating the apps. I have done a soft restart as well. I have cleared the cache, I have tried different Internet connections, hardwire connections, restarting my Internet, router Nothing has worked.

    If this is the only app having an issue, we suggest that you contact the app provider first for further assistance. Apps on Roku are maintained by their own developers.

  • That wasn’tAtfowler55​ that replied. They may still be experiencing issues with both platforms for all I know. 

    I sort of hi jacked their post because I’m having the same issue. It began the evening of 6/12/2025, lasted until the next morning. Resolved the afternoon of 6/13/2025. Now it’s the morning of 6/14/2025 and we’re experiencing the same issue again.

    I need more information to take a closer look at this concern. Now that Netflix is working fine, which other apps are you having trouble with besides the Disney+ app? Can you tell me when you experienced this issue?

    I see that you're experiencing content issues with your Disney+ and Netflix. I appreciate your effort in starting the troubleshooting steps, and I would like to learn more about the issue. 

    • Do you experience this issue only on Disney+ and Netflix, or also on other apps?
    • Do you see any error codes or messages when you open those apps?
    • Did you try accessing those apps on your other devices?
    • Providing a video or photo showing the issue would be helpful too.

      Same thing with Disney+ over here.  I can sign into Disney+, but when I go to stream something the error message above is shown. Disney+ works just fine on other devices such as my iPhone and laptop. Netflix is fine for me.

        We want to get additional information regarding your issue with the Disney+ app. May we know what Roku device you are using right now? (Roku Express, Roku streaming stick, Roku Ultra, Roku streambar, Roku TV-Specify)
