Are these sticks being powered by the tv usb port? That's the reason you're seeing the bouncing logo is its losing power each time you turn off the tv, plug the roku into a wall outlet and you won't have the bouncing anymore.
I didn't know the bouncing logo was not normal but I knew the roku remote issues were all wrong. I thought it was just a roku problem.
paj3232 The 2 are related are probably related. But Roku TVs come with a simple IR remote. Be sure the remote has a clean line of sight. Other Roku remotes are WiFi direct. Which means the remote does not have to be pointed at the TV in order to work.

From reading through your postings, it seems that your Roku Streaming Stick is simply being powered off when your LG TV turns off. Some USB power ports on TV remain on when the tv is off, some do not.
If you plug your Streaming Stick into the wall using a power adapter (you can use a cell phone charging adapter 5V 1 amp), you will likely see your issue resolved regarding the Stick booting up everytime you turn your TV on. After using the power adapter at the wall, you should just have to press the Home button on your remote to "wake up" your Streaming Stick and find yourself on the Home Screen.
Additionally, on the older Streaming Sticks, you will not see a Power option in the Settings. This option was introduced in OS 10.5 to the Streaming Sticks 4k/4k+ (models 3820/3821).

This tv came with the remote that has a microphone unlike my newer TCL which has the simple remote. This remote works fine to power on and works fine once the tv is up and running EXCEPT when the tv is first turned on so it is not dirty, it is crazy.
paj3232 I never said anything about dirty. But if your TV is booting up your remote most likely would be unresponsive until your Roku TV fully boots up. Just like certain things on a computer on unresponsive such as a mouse until Windows fully boots up. I just find it odd that you’re finally trying to do something after owning your TV for over a year. I would’ve reached out to LG within the first couple of days of owning it. Just saying
I really appreciate everyone trying to help here :) I have gleaned from this convo that the problem is that my tv and roku are doing a full restart every time I turn on the tv. That is at least a good place to start and I will call LG to try and figure out why this happens. Thank you.

paj3232 What are you talking about? So you have a Roku TV with a Roku Stick? Or do you have an LG TV with a Roku Stick? If it’s your TV you should know what you have. What do you mean LG supplied with the TV? You said before you have an LG Roku TV. Is that not the case?
So let me gets this straight. You bought an LG TV and a Roku Stick. Best Buy hooked it up. This changes everything. So is the Stick plugged into the wall for power or the TV USB? If it’s plugged into the TV USB then plug with Stick power into the supplied AC power adapter and plug that into the wall. Do you have the AC power adapter that came with your Roku Stick?

No, I bought the tv which said it came with roku installed, I can't install a 65" tv on the wall myself so their Geek Squad installed it (I did not know it had a roku stick, I thought it was installed internally, obviously they did it wrong...
I found out today. Luckily I paid for a somewhat swiveling wall mount and was able to get back there to see what was going on and fix it.
paj3232 I believe you probably misread something. Your LG TV did not come with Roku installed that would mean it’s an LG Roku TV. If you bought it from Best Buy then it was probably promotion. “Buy an LG TV and get a Roku installed by our Geek Squad”. Something along those lines. But you gave me an impression you had a Roku TV. And you gave others that same impression to. We did not know you had an LG TV with a separate Roku stick plugged into it. Glad you figured it out. The reason Best Buy plugged it in to the TV power is because it’s easy to hide the cord that way.
Moving forward. You don’t have an LG With Roku installed. You have an LG TV with a Roku streaming stick plug into the HDMI port.
There were previous models of LG RokuTVs. Like the Insignia RokuTV, they are no longer manufactured, but they did, and do exist, as recently as a couple of years ago.
AvsGunnar Well aware. But the impression paj gave us was he had an LG Roku TV. Hence why I mentioned to him to call LG. I guess if he provided his LG model number and Roku model number we could have figured this out days ok. At least it’s fixed. It’s hard to help someone when you don’t have all the right information 👍🏻
AvsGunnar My bad. Typo. If you read through the previous statement I’ve been trying to help them sort this out. But you caught my typo. I highly doubt LG was advertising their TV with a Roku stick option. Like I said it was probably a Best Buy promotion. Buy an LG TV and get a Roku stick installed Meijer geek squad. That’s most likely what it was
