Crave subtitles not working

When streaming Crave I cannot get the subtitles to work properly. They are turned on and English is selected and works properly at first but if I start a new episode or play something new the subtitl...

    Let's see if this will work for you.

    1. Check the channel for updates by highlighting the app, pressing the star (*) button, and selecting check for updates.
    2. Remove the channel
    3. Restart your Roku device
    4. Add the channel again

Same happens to me, I have English selected and when I start a new movie or episode, it reverts to French. Beside that, and worst even is that I also watch content in French with French subtitles, but the subtitles for French content turn off in the middle of the show, even though CC is turned on and French is selected on Crave. I have to rewind a bit to get it on again. This happens every 5 min within any show I'm watching.
