Are you using any form of DNS ad blocking service? If so, chances are you're not permitting any form of "commercial" ads for over the counter purchases, so all you'll get is a loop of the Roku-only ads for their shows. Yes, it's tedious but it's probably better than getting hammered to buy **bleep** you really don't want anyways! If you block all Roku ad servers via DNS, you'll get sections of black instead of ads but often the program won't pick up after the ad break, so you'll have to scroll up or down after X seconds to go back to your program.
