COLOR is now WASHED OUT with newest channels programing

I first notice this washed out color issue on PARAMOUNT+ watching WOLF PACK, then it was SCREAM, SEAL TEAM and the newer movies and TV programs. Sports are ok as well as all the trailers. Paramount+ was clueless and ROKU tried a few things in support chat.. No fix.. SO>> I dove deeper... seems DISNEY, HBOMAX, HULU had some shows have the washed out issue, some not, older "on demand" is ok. Like I said.. ESPN and sports programing is ok and all trailers. I have a TCL 55" ROKU 4K 55S455 and SOUNDBAR PRO 9101R2

All the free movie channels like TUBI, PLUTTO ROKU, FREEVEE are ok

Anyone else having this problem?

    I'm not sure if this problem still exists, but I found a fix with some investigation some time ago. It seems this TV (TCL 55" Roku) or Roku Software interface have an issue, incompatibility with Hi End Video Systems. The fix was in Settings>Display type. Although the TV offers 4K HDR 60fps TV I had to reset it to 4K 60fps TV.. Problem solved.

    I never did a System restart

    Did you try the settings that fixed it for me? Change from the default settings to the ones I listed.. that's the fix

    I have the same issue. I’m trying to watch the NBA playoffs on TNT on Max and it is extremely washed out. I tried messed with the settings to see if I could manually make it better but it doesn’t help. I did the system restart and that also didn’t change anything. This is on a Roku 50’

    We're here to help. Are you trying to access the content from Paramount Plus standalone or through The Roku Channel?

    Have you tried to remove the channel and see if it helps? If you haven't tried it yet, you can remove the affected channel and re-install it. To ensure the process is successful, restart your device before adding the channel back in. We would recommend doing this from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.) > System restart.
