The Private version of the Cloc Screensaver was the solution to a broken version from Roku. At this point, we're out-of-luck with a working screensaver with weather, and without frequent lock-ups.

The broken version isn't from Roku. It's from me, too. :smileyhappy:

Hey @renojim - looks like we need your help! Now that Roku won't allow the private version of your excellent CLOK screensaver anymore, is there any chance you could promote the code to the official Roku CLOK screensaver? Then we can all enjoy a proper working screensaver with time and weather conditions!
Is that hard to do? I know you made it an official Roku screensaver once upon a time, so maybe you could update it so it works again with the weather conditions? Keep it free, or if you wish, charge for it. I know I would be willing to pay for it. I'm sure many others would too, as it is the best screensaver on Roku platform!

straightbourbon, it will happen, but I can't give you a definite time frame.

renojim Is there any hope in CLOC being fixed? (It is simply the absolute best time/temp screensaver!)

There's hope, I just can't say when. :smileyhappy:

I have also used CLOC private for many years. I would love to pay for it. Good luck with rewriting it.

Well THANK YOU for your work on this renojim! Why not fix the original rather than release a private working version?

I tried Clever Clocks. I didn't really care for them. Most of them don't move--they just stay stationary, which I don't like. I ended up just settling on the Roku-provided digital clock. There's no weather, but it works--and it jumps around the screen.

Add me to the list of people willing to pay for this app. Maybe a $5 or $10 yearly subscription? And I'd gladly pay more for one additional feature (being able to include the day of the week with the date, since I never seem to know what day it is).
