Cannot add any previous channels after upgrading to Ultra
We decided to upgrade and for the Ultra. Set up went perfectly, it is connected to the internet and everything is working fine. It’s been two hours of trying to add channels that we had on the other Roku. We live in Japan and have not had any issues with streaming anything on any of the apps such as Disney, Prime Video, or Hulu. That is, until we upgraded.
We haven’t changed countries or accounts or anything but we cannot even locate Disney Plus or Hulu or Amazon prime video on the apps page on the Roku and there’s no search button like your help video said to use.
Went online to the Roku website to get assistance but no luck. We are logged in, remote works, but if you go to the App Store and pull up Disney or any other app we had before, it is greyed out and you cannot click on it.
I know we can use these apps in Japan, we’ve used them for the last 10 years and we can use them on our phones, iPads, and laptops. Only this new Roku is creating issues. I see others who’ve had the same issue and being told to restart or reboot or reset. We’ve done it all. And then they say it’s regional, but that’s not true either. We literally used Disney plus on the television a few hours ago. Need assistance asap.
