Can’t Remove Paramount+ Channel

This is simple. Simple and stupid. I mistakenly installed the PARAMOUNT+ channel on my Roku stick. NOT THE PARAMOUNT+ ON THE ROKU CHANNEL ONE. I’m talking about the regular PARAMOUNT+ channel.  ...

    We'd be more than happy to suggest further ways to help you remove a channel.

    Remove a channel from our official Channel store website:

    • Sign into your Roku account, look for the channel you want to remove, and select Remove Channel.

    Remove a channel from within the Roku mobile app:

    1. Launch the Roku mobile app
    2. Tap Channels from the navigation bar
    3. From the Channels tab, select My Channels to view a list of channels installed on your Roku device.
    4. Tap and hold a channel to view more information
    5. Tap Remove and confirm your decision

    Remove a channel from within the channel store on your Home screen:

    1. Press Home on your Roku remote
    2. Select Streaming Channels to open the Channel Store
    3. Locate the channel you wish to remove and press OK on your remote
      • Tip: A check mark appears in the bottom right hand corner identifying an installed channel.
    4. Select Remove channel and confirm the selection when prompted

Roku will not let you remove a channel that it thinks you have an active subscription through Roku.  "Remove channel" will be replaced by "Manage subscriptions".  Click this and follow the prompts to unsubscribe from this channel. (You'll still have use of it for the balance of any pre-paid subscription period. You can resubscribe later if you like.)  Now the ”Remove channel" menu item will be back and you can remove the channel.

I don't have an active subscription to Paramount+ but it still has no option to remove the channel like all other channels do.  Very annoying.  Any other way to remove a channel from your Roku?

      Nope

      None of these solutions worked.

      What if I do a factory reset on my device?  Will that clear out Paramount Plus?

        Thank you for letting us know. If you have a Paramount+ subscription through the Roku channel, you must cancel it before removing the channel from your Roku device.

        Check for an active subscription and confirm how it’s billed to your Roku account before proceeding.

        1. Go to my.roku.com on your computer or smartphone
        2. If prompted, sign in to your Roku account.
        3. Select Manage Your Subscriptions.

        Could you tell us what specific app you're accessing? Is it the Paramount Plus standalone or the Paramount Plus on The Roku Channel?
