Black screen on playback until rebooted

Early today on a Roku 3820X 4K streaming stick running Software 14.1, all video playback was a black screen. First app I tried was DirecTV.  I could hear audio but there was no picture.  I hit home ...

    1. Check your network connection
    2. Restart your Wi-Fi or modem
    3. Restart your Roku device

    If the issue continues, we suggest you try to reset your Roku device's network connection by going to Settings > Advanced system settings > Network connection reset > Reset connection.

    I have this regularly like once a week few different model Roku's usually youtube, sometimes the news on very local will do it too, no other apps typically, roku's are up to date, reboot always fixes it for a while.  Everything works, streaming starts just a black screen no video but audio is fine and rebooting the roku works, it isn't a networking issue it is something going wrong with either the roku SW or the app itself, restarting the app will not fix it but other apps will work reboot as I said always fixes it.
