Solved

Big Bang theory will no longer stream on my Max app. All other shows work fine.

I typically stream Big Bang Theory on Max when I'm working at home or at night when I sleep. It suddenly stopped streaming on my app. Just shows a black screen with a spinning circle. All other shows are streaming fine on Max. As I tried to watch it on the various user profiles for my family, it would work initially, but then the same problem when I returned to it. I even created a new profile in which it worked, and then not when I went back to it. It's like I've been cut off! 😢

I'm addicted to Big Bang! Help!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and we're sorry to hear about the issue you've encountered with MAX not being able to stream Bing Bang Theory. We'd be more than glad to assist. Kindly follow these troubleshooting steps in order to resolve the issue.

    1. Navigate to the channel tile on the Roku home screen, press the star (*) key on your remote, and choose "Remove channel".
    2. Next, restart your device from Settings > System > Power > System Restart (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).
    3. Once your player/TV starts up again, go to "Streaming Store" on the Home screen, and add the channel back once more.

If the issue persists after performing the provided troubleshooting step, you may want to contact the channel provider's support directly and inquire further about this issue for a workaround that needs an update on their end to resolve this since most channels on the Roku platform are designed and maintained by the channel providers themselves.

I'm having this exact same problem on my LG smart tv with the HBO app. No other shows are effected. Big Bang Theory is the only show this happens to: after 3-5 minutes the audio will cut intermittently but will video will usually play for a few more minutes before either kicking me out of my program and back to the Big Bang Theory Home Screen...more often than not though, the problem will crash my entire HBO app, restarting me at the HBO splash graphic that displays before my Home Screen appears. HBO PLEASE GET IT TOGETHER
