Australian Roku disappointment

I just ‘upgraded’ my 8 year old Roku to the Roku Express 4. What a disappointment.


It will only load one local free to air channel - one that I rarely watch.

While it will stream Netflix, Stan and BritBox it won’t stream Binge. I mean the proper Binge which plays quite a lot of Foxtel, not the poor imitation that is the only result from doing a search in the channel store.

Up until a week ago my old Roku did all of this. I’m close to throwing this new one in the bin. Very unhappy.

      I too am very disappointed with my brand new Roku TV.

      ABC iView isn't available.

      I assume it's because ABC didn't pay Roku a bucket of money to get listed.

      All Roku want to do is direct you to paid streaming services.

      Roku TVs, a total waste of money.
