Audio doesn’t sync with video

We have tried all the recommended solutions and find the most effective is unplugging our ROKU device for a minute.  On occasion (but not always) this will correct the problem.  Unfortunately, it occurs frequently and we are totally dissatisfied with ROKU.  We further find ROKU's unwillingness to address these kind of problems without providing support tells us:

1.  They don't know how to fix it, or

2. Don't care,

    Exactly!  Only solution that worked for me was switching to a fire stick.  Don’t care for the user interface, but at least I don’t have the sync issue.
