Audio but no video on playback even though menus display correctly

My 4K Streaming Stick has been working fine for years. Recently, about every 2 weeks it will start up when I power on my TV, the Home screen and channel menus display perfectly, but when I select a channel, the audio plays but no video picture. Video will display after I press the reset button on the stick, but then I have to sign in to my Roku account and all my apps as if this were the first time I'm using it.

The stick is connected to an HDMI port and is plugged in to a working power strip.

It sounds like the issue might be with your TV, especially since you're using a Roku Stick for streaming.

Here are the troubleshooting steps you may need to consider:

To start with, Try a different TV or plug the Roku stick into an alternative HDMI port. Additionally, please ensure that the Roku stick is securely connected to both the TV and the wall outlet.

Please try doing this and see if it helps with what you're experiencing.

    Thanks,
    Jharra

How long are you holding in the reset button?  It shouldn't factory reset with a quick press.  Instead of pressing the reset button, have you tried just performing a "System restart" from Settings->System or Settings->System->Power (as appropriate)?

A short press or restarting through the menu doesn't fix the problem. Only a long press or fully unplugging the stick corrects the issue.

BTW, the audio but no video is on all apps.
