Apple TV+ MLS Stream Stutters

The MLS game streams on Apple TV+ all stutter on all my Roku devices but work perfectly on my Xbox.  I don't have any stuttering on any of my other streaming services or on the other Apple TV+ content.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Does anyone have a fix?

If the only thing that stutters is the MLS stream inside the Apple TV app on Roku, but everything else works fine, like other Apple TV shows, other apps like Netflix, Hulu, etc, then the problem isn’t Roku.

If it was a Roku issue (like with the hardware, Wi-Fi, or system), you'd see stuttering across a bunch of apps, not just one specific channel.

Since the MLS games work fine on Xbox, it shows the stream itself is fine, it’s just not playing well through the Roku version of the Apple TV app.

That points to a problem with how Apple is handling the MLS streams, specifically on Roku devices, not a problem with the Roku itself.

Basically, Roku is doing its job. It’s the Apple TV app or the way Apple is sending out the MLS games that's the issue.

You'll have better luck contacting Apple, but in the meantime, you're likely forced to use only platforms that are powerful enough to easily handle it, like Xbox.

Thanks for this.  This is kind of what I assumed.  I've spoken with both Apple and Roku about this, and because it is one company streaming through another company's hardware, both companies are thrilled to blame the other one for the issue.
