Apple TV+ 1-month Free Trial

Has anyone else tried redeeming the one month free trial of Apple TV+?  I've tried several times, with old Apple TV account and tried with new account, and I wasn't getting the 1 month free trial offer.  With new account, only the 7 days free.  I've chatted with Roku, with no solution, then referred me to Apple Customer Service.  Apple seemed unaware of the Roku offer, so, then referred me back to Roku.  I wasn't getting anywhere with either one.  The free trial is until June 26.

  • I am having the same issue. Last night I clicked on the offer, scanned the QR code and as the screen was going to the sign in page, I saw, at the last second a promo code starting with G8....but I only see the 1 week free the. $9.99 offer.

      Same issue.  Logged in and out several times, but Apple TV programs will only enable once I authorize a $9.99 charge to card on file. 

  • Hello, also having the same problem. I tried to sign up today during the happy streaming deals and once all info is added I’m only given the option of a 7 day free trial instead of the 30 day.

  • I have the same problem. No free month of appletv. I saw the offer on the Happy Streaming Deals page. Please fix this.

  • That's not true, that only new subscribers to Apple TV+ is eligible.  As I've mentioned this to RokuEmmanuel-D​ via private message, I used a different email and created a new account, and still no 1 month free trial.  Only offered the 7 days free trial.

      Not sure if you got this resolved, or if you tried this, but I found your thread looking to see if I needed to create new account or could use an old one. After signing up with the new account on my computer (and I assume this would be the same on mobile), I had the offer to start 7 day free trial. I said "not right now", then when I signed in on the TV, I had the start 1 month free offer available.

        No, I haven't heard from anybody in a while.  The offer of 1 month free is still there, as of today, but if I remember correctly, the offer ends today.  After today, it's more unlikely this will be resolved.  The 1 month offer is there, but once you sign in with an old account or create a new account, there is no 1 month free.  Only the 7 day free trial.

  • I'm having the same issue with the free month of Apple TV+.  I used to see the offer when logging in and tried it but it didn't show me the free month.  Now I can't see the offer at all when signing out and back in.  I got the same happy streaming day email.  Can you help me to redeem the free month offer?

      I understand that you are experiencing issues redeeming the one-month free trial for Apple TV. I would like to know more details. 

      • Is this your first subscription to the Apple TV app, or have you subscribed previously?
      • Is the email address linked to your Roku account for a first-time Apple TV subscriber?

        No it's not my first.  I subscribed last summer for a month or two I think.  Yes my email address is linked to my Roku account.

      I remember seeing the ad for Happy Streaming Days, about a month ago.   I no longer see the ad.  Anyway, the offer is still there.  To see it, you have sign out of the app.  The next time you open it, it's on the main screen,  "Start 1 month Free Trial. Included with your Roku".  Upon signing in with an expired subscription, shows to renew at $9.99/month.  With a new account, only shows a 7 day free trial.  Contacted Roku via chat, twice referred to Apple Customer Service.  Apple then referred back to Roku,
