If your Roku streaming player is unable to correctly detect the capabilities of your TV, you may wish to configure the display type on your own. Follow the steps below to manually change your display type setting.
- Press Home on your Roku remote.
- Scroll and select Settings.
- Select Display type.
- Select one of the available display types and press OK on your remote.
- Your screen may go black for a few seconds while the display setting is changed.
- When an image is shown, select Yes, I can see it, and press OK on your remote.
- Your screen will return to the Display Type menu.
- A check will appear next to the new display setting.
Please keep us posted on what you find out and we will be happy to continue assisting you further. We look forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks,

Arjiemar and Roku team,
You don't seem to have actually read the customer's issue, don't care about customer issues, or are simply inept and unwilling to admit so.
The issue is that on a ROKU-TV (not Roku streaming player) the app size is not adjustable by the user. This can make the apps difficult to read of they're too small, it cumbersome to navigate if there are many and they're too large.
Adjusting the display settings to bypass auto-detection should not be the answer either. That simply makes the the whole viewing experience change. The simplest and easiest answer is to add a "app display grid" setting available so the user can select small, medium, large, huge, &c. size for the app icons on the home screen. Am additional seeing to make the text size adjustable would also enhance user confidence.
