Whatever ad agency created the “screaming” commercial you’re running should be fired. Are you aware of the great percentage of people that have PTSD caused or triggered by screaming? Just because you can rhyme streaming with screaming doesn’t make for a good ad. They can’t all be winners but you should ask for a refund on this one. Please take it down before your commercial causes actual harm
I, myself find their screaming ads stressful and disturbing. I now have to put the tv on “mute”, look away to avoid anxiety, and wait a minute before returning. Who the heck approved these?!? Please, take these down!
I can't stand this commercial. It actually makes me nauseated and I have to mute the tv until irs off. Please get rid of it / them.
Please re-think this ad. Some of us cant stand the screaming. Its is very upsetting and causes anxiety.

I also came here to complain about it, Im already watching Roku TV and getting screamed at! I don't even see how the ad makes sense, they scream at each other because they don't have a Roku TV? I have to literally carry the remote in case it comes on, if I'm not right at the TV, so I can mute it. And yes, some people with PTSD and similar issues are severely triggered by sudden screaming or loud noises. I get that advertisers think that if they shout at us, we notice their ads, and we'll buy their stuff. But no, I already have the TV, and making me hate something won't make me buy it anyway. On the Ghost Hunters channel, this nonsensical commercial is often followed by another with some guy playing video games and screaming, is this the 2020s trend? People screaming for no reason in ads?
I am in full agreement. Please remove the screaming commercial. It is quite harsh and harmfully stupid. Surely you can do better than that
There appears to be multiple versions of these screaming ads.
This is what happens when you legalize certain substances. I am certain it seemed funny to them as a cloud of smoke passed over their heads. I can think of no other reason.

I literally HATE your commercial with people screaming! It’s obnoxious and I turn off the volume. PLEASE-get rid of this commercial-it literally gave me a headache. So…it surely can’t be helping you.
I'm actually hating turning on Roku because that's all I ever see is screaming ads! This kind of doesn't do ANYTHING for Roku...it's NOT humorous! There is NOTHING good about them! I too mute the TV when they come in and seems like that's EVERY commercial I get! I'm about to rip the stick out of my TV and do something different! They're gonna lose viewers and customers real quick with this!🤬

Wishing I could say everything I feel. If I could find something I enjoy without ROKU I would leave over this ignorant and iratating commercial. I'm floored ROKU thinks it's a good advertisement because "IT SUCKS!!!"

Roku TV ad screaming is the absolute worst add I have ever seen. I can't mute it fast enough. I tried covering my ears and humming to drown it out but it is so loud I could still hear it so I started hitting the mute button. It creates so much stress. Who on earth thought this was a good idea?
I just hopped out here to complain about this screaming commercial. I find it angering and annoying and have decided NOT to replace my other TV in my RV with a roku like the other two I have.

VERY annoying! Can a Roku company manager here contact the Roku marketing folks and ask them to pull the ad?
I agree with others: There's no reason for a screaming ad. It's NOT funny, and it can do actual harm to people sensitive to loud noises.
Yes..it is absolutely awful, 2 unattractive people screaming..please stop it and you might stop doing business with the ad agency who created it.

I suggest using mainstream social media to make this an issue the company can't ignore.
I am not OK with every ad that pops up between shows in the app support gambling with online gaming. It's inappropriate for everyone. Not only that there have been some ads for online apps that are inappropriate to meet with girls and women across the world and they don't leave anything to your imagination. They're pretty blatant. Not to mention the ads that are completely ridiculous and people are yelling and screaming. Also there was a time where there were multiple advertisements for horror movies. Can you just run advertisements for toilet paper and toothpaste? Every time an ad comes on I click mute set my timer and walk out of the room. Thankfully, I don't have young grandchildren yet. When we do we won't be watching the app. It's really sad because all of our other experiences with Roku have been positive. I have tried to find a place where I can pay not to watch the ads---it's that bad.
You can go into settings/privacy/advertising and sensitive ad content and limit some of those types of ads by selecting content to restrict. It won't get rid of everything, but should help a bit.
YES, whatever idiot came up with this idea AND the idiot who approved it should be fired! I cannot state strongly enough how awful this commercial is and downright jarring. I can't mute it quick enough. It's disturbing! So just as I can't stand the first commercial, you add a second screaming one? Are you trying to drive away customers? Get your act together and think of the customer instead of indulging the grade school humor of these ad creators. Absolutely nuts!
Totally agree these commercials are offensive and counter productive for what they are suppose to accomplish! Instead of wanting to buy a Roku TV it would be better to find a different product if these commercials continue.

I came here to say the same thing! Watching TV is supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable. Who in their right mind enjoys screaming? No one ever anywhere is the answer. Dumbest commercial idea ever! Please make it stop!
