Has this happened yet? I’m tired of my sneaky kids coming downstairs in the middle of the night to watch TV. I’m searching through my tv settings and can’t find where I can set anything up to restrict the TV being used during specific times. If it has happened is it only for new TVs (I think mine is 3-4 years old) or should I only have to update it to get these settings?

hi there! This does not have to do with actual Roku, however, I have figured out how to lock down my kids TVs. We have the same problem. They will also use up all of their iPad screen time and go to the TV and watch it limitlessly. I ended up getting an Eero to make our Internet Wi-Fi go farther range and found that it has a ton of parental features that with anything that is connected to the Wi-Fi. You can set time limits, block certain website websites and shows and and completely shut the entire thing down. it goes for TVs, iPads, computer, video games, etc. we do have cell phones, and the two iPads that can use cell service, but everything else is connected to the Wi-Fi, which can be managed through this app. we have frontier, but I’m sure that any Internet company will have something similar. Best of luck!

I think another option could be sneakily putting the TV or router on a smart plug. You could then hook that up that a timer that shuts it down from 9pm to 6am.
