I saw what PornHub posted, and I looked into it. PornHub was not being truthful. Roku has not banned it.
What happened is that in October, Roku announced publicly the revamp of the app development system, and 120 days later, removed all non-certified apps as they said they would.
You see, all along, all apps were supposed to go through certification, and Roku had a non-certified repository for apps to be used while development was completed and the app certified. Some developers simply stopped at this point.
Currently, Roku has a 120-day limit on beta apps, with a limited number of users as a test base. All apps must be certified and meet coding standards before being allowed in the Channel Store.
And as for Roku banning adult apps? The Channel Publishing guidelines include marking an app as Adult. So, somebody has been giving you bad information. Don't trust those people.
