ROKU Guys: Has anything changed in the last 2 years? We need Roku devices with better devices ... here is my reason why:
I have a Synology NAS, DS1621+ with 20 GB RAM with 4 x 1 Gbps NICs bonded together in 2 x 2 Gbps pipes with managed switches. I also have a 10 Gbps NIC on the NAS, with a QNAP 10 Gbps router and a TP-Link Deco with support for 10 Gbps Ethernet to the LAN. I do have a 1 Gbps symmetrical Internet connection.
I ran Plex on the NAS.
Even the door locks have better Wi-Fi than my multiple Roku Streaming Sticks 4K.
I use the Roku's Plex app, and it is the only case in which playback is slow, interrupted and throws error like the ones attached .... my connection to the server is fast enough and powerful enough all around, except from the Rokus.
It is time for Roku to accommodate to the user needs. I assure you that if you offer Wi-Fi 6 or better, people like me will pay for it.
