Discovery Plus will be available in January. They say they are in talks with Roku. Please please Roku add this offering.

I don't want to watch "TV" on my laptop. I love Roku. Please add Discovery plus to Roku

Being in talks is one thing. Coming to agreement is another. These are business decisions with both sides trying to maximize their deal.But note that Roku does not create the channel apps, the channel owners do. Roku just provides the platform on which they run. Discovery Plus won't be on Roku until Discovery supplies the app.

I get that. I am saying please come to an agreement. If you come to an agreement they will provide the app.Do you have any idea how hard it is to get the Science channel? The cost without adverts is under 10$ a month, it offers an extensive list of stations. There are so many advantages to adding this tile.I know the customer is the last thing considered in any business negotiation, you owe me nothing. Discovery Plus is available on the Amazon Firestick in India where they started this past summer, so I feel confident that Roku will come to an agreement with them. However, if they don't, Amazon probably will, since they are already rollin' in India. I like my Roku better, but was able to find the latest firestick for only $20 on Prime Day this year. There are a few apps I get on the stick that I can't find on Roku. Discovery Plus might be one of them. Probably great deals on these now before Christmas.

I have trouble streaming the channels that I see are offered by Discovery Plus. I beg you to please add Discovery Plus to your channel lineup. This service doesn't start until 1/4/21, so please give us the ability to stream this.

  THANK YOU ROKU & DISCOVERY +, I was just able to add the app to my lineup of apps, and I have opted for the commercial free version. I believe that the price of $6.99 is a bargain, and I have a 7 day free trial so if I do not like I just cancel!

If agreement is made with Amazon firestick and not Roku I will have no other choice than to discontinue my Roku use(6+ years) and start using Amazon.

So I just figured out how to download the Discovery Plus app! You have to go through the ROKU app. Click on this link

& scroll down to where it says “Click Here” & of course you’ll chose the ROKU. You will see Discovery Plus & press “Install” & then go back to your tv & it will be in with all your other installed apps, most likely at the bottom but you can move it up towards the top. I hope this helps! It only took me 2 hours to figure this out 🤦🏼‍♀️
