Dear Roku Management:
Discovery+ channel selections offer 90% of what my bride and I watch TV for!!!
Please...Please....Please push hard and negotiate successfully to obtain this Discovery+ new Streaming Network for US!!!
Appreciate your interest and efforts! :smileyhappy:
I agree. I am spending close to $100 month for my cable tv service for the handful of channels that would all be available on Discovery +.
If an agreement is not made and Discovery + is not an option on Roku, I will gladly to spend the $ to switch platforms as it will only take a few months to recover the cost.

You might want to check out Philo. They have a lot of cable channels and they are only $20 a month. They have live broadcasts, but lots of VOD, too. Tons of ads (like cable), but no sports or live news. I usually subscribe for a month or 2, binge watch my favorites, then drop it for half a year. When I dropped DISH 4 years ago, there were some channels that I missed a lot. Philo filled the gap.

It's amazing how all of you just want to throw your money at Discovery! Of ALL THE NEW STREAMING SERVICES your precious Discovery, Inc. Is THE ONLY ONE THAT WANTS TO take (free) programs from their other channels & put them on Discovery Plus in order to be paid for them.
NOT ONE OTHER STREAMING SERVICE HAS taken shows that were previously on other free channels & has put them on their "pay" service exclusively! CBS all-Access.. Nope, Peacock.. Nope, Disney Plus ... Nope, HBO Max.. Nope.... YES THEY HAVE TAKEN PROGRAMS & HAVE PUT THEM ON THEIR PLATFORM BUT they ALSO REMAIN ON THEIR FREE CHANNEL. FOR YOU HGTV FANS.. If you liked the two twin brothers & their show “Forever Home” well starting tomorrow it is no longer on HGTV because it's now exclusively on Disney Plus & you'll have to pay to watch.. For you TLC fans & your 90-Day fiancé series.. Buh-Bye TCL & welcome to Discovery Plus. How about ID & Paula Zahn.. Bye Bye now... Is $4.99 a lot of money, no not so much but it's all relative.
I believe it's a matter of principal. If their business model is built on greed Then 6who knows what they'll do next & YOU CAN BET WHATEVER IT IS IT WON'T HAVE YOUR (THE CUSTOMER) BEST INTEREST AT HEART!!!

i''m preaching patience. If they can reach agreements for Disney+, Peacock and HBOMAX, they can reach one for Discovery+ which means that it probably won't be available on Roku in a week when the service officially becomes available.
